When I started out it was hard to determine when to stock up and what was or wasn't a good deal so I've started making a list of prices to help get people started but I do recommend starting a Price book of your own as sales varie from location to location. Also the sales cycles are generally every 3 months or so. When the "big" sales hit stock up until the next big sale, again this is where the price book becomes very helpful.
Cereal - stock up at .50 and don't pay over $1 can be found for .25 a lot and even free
Razors - are free but if you can't wait for a sale I wouldn't pay more than $1
Body wash - free
Bread - $0.38 this includes buns
Frozen veggies - $.20
Milk - $1.89 if you have room milk can be frozen
Knorr sides - $.50
Keep on eye on clearance items these can be great freebies and even moneymakers when matched with coupons. I will be working on my getting my personal price book uploaded to share with everyone soon so check back often!
